Heavy grooving future jazz meets Nigerian neo-soul singer
One moment extremely relaxed, the next moment with explosive power. The band of drummer Ziggy Zeitgeist excels in heavily grooving jazz that draws heavily from hip-hop and electronic (dance) music, among others. The band is incredibly agile, the rhythm can change in an instant, but the swinging pulse is always there.
Over the bed of beats spread by bass, drums and percussion, the keys provide a trance-inducing spacious sound. Music for tireless dancers played by musicians who apparently cannot get tired.
At Music Meeting, Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange is reinforced for the occasion with another gem from the German scene: the Nigerian neo-soul singer Wayne Snow. His vocals are just as agile as the group, including an impressive falsetto. A meeting to look forward to.
