Maryana Golovchenko + Kravchenko Clees duo

The young Ukrainian/Luxembourgish duo Katherina Kravchenko and Arthur Clees won the Jazz Juniors prize in Krakov, Poland. Rightly so, because their timing, their timbre, indeed everything, fits together perfectly.

Kravchenko is the kind of singer that has you hanging on her every word, every note is a building block of a story where you want, no, nééd to know what happens next. Clees is also a storyteller on the vibraphone and, just like Kravchenko, he does so in a very poetic way. Playful and very concentrated, they bring music that will undoubtedly silence the listener before a thunderous final applause sounds.

During Music Meeting, another beautiful Ukrainian singer, Maryana Golovchenko, joins this Dresden, German-based duo. That must make for a great concert.
