Do you like a challenge? And do you have a big heart for music and in particular for Music Meeting? Then sign up as a volunteer!
In order to have enough volunteers at the festival site throughout the weekend, we have a minimum of two half-days for volunteer work.

Volunteer functions
Ticket Desk (Full)
The Ticket desk scans tickets and sells tickets with a pin machine at the entrance of the venue. You are the first impression of the festival.
Profile: This team consists of volunteers who have a responsible attitude, can work punctually and communicate clearly with visitors. Confident, reliable and calm.
Working hours: from opening to closing, shifts between 4 and 6 hours divided into shorter shifts of 2.5 hours.
Information Desk/Merchandise (Full)
The team at this desk provides information about the festival, are like the "ears and eyes" of the festival. Visitors come here with all kinds of questions. In addition, you sell the merchandise of the artists and Music Meeting itself.
Profile: This team consists of active, enthusiastic people who are hospitable, punctual and customer friendly. You know how to talk to people and how to turn problems into solutions. You are able to keep an accurate administration for the sale of items.
Working hours: from opening to closing time, shifts between 4 and 6 hours.
Welcome Team
As a host person at the volunteer point, you will receive all volunteers. You provide everyone with consumption vouchers etc. and record everything carefully. You work alone, but are not often alone.
Profile: You are hospitable, practical and punctual
Working hours: from 9 a.m. to closing time, shifts of 5 to 6 hours
Location Worker (Full)
The location worker is responsible for keeping the tents and the surroundings tidy. Also for helping the audience, for example for people with wheelchairs, making sure everyone leaves the tent, handing out headphones etc. You are not responsible for things on stage, that's what stage managers are for. You usually work alone.
Profile: You can work independently, have an eye for your surroundings and are customer friendly
Working hours: from opening to closing time, shifts of 5 to 6 hours.
Doorkeeper
The doorkeepers are among others on various passages from backstage to frontstage on the grounds. You will check entrance tickets and provide information about the festival to interested passersby.
Profile: This team consists of people who like to work independently. You are part of a team, but mainly stand alone at the passage. You are enthusiastic and confident.
Mini Meeting
As a volunteer you will be actively involved in the children's activities. Here various workshops are given for young and old.
Profile: This team consists of volunteers who are creative, enterprising and enthusiastic. Of course you like to work with young and old and you have it in you to connect different generations.
Working hours: afternoons to early evenings, shifts of 4 to 5 hours.
Backstage Bar
The Backstage bar team performs bar duties. The team serves coffee, tea and drinks. For volunteers and performers. They butter sandwiches, clean up and wash up. They ensure a good atmosphere Backstage.
Profile: This team consists of smooth, hands-on volunteers who can work customer-oriented and efficiently.
Working hours: from morning to close, shifts between 4 and 6.
Public Bar
The public bar team performs bar duties. You will take orders, pour drinks, charge by ATM and be customer friendly. You will work under an experienced bar manager and can learn a thing or two.
Profile: This team consists of smooth, hands-on volunteers who can work customer-oriented and efficiently. Catering experience is nice, but not necessary.
Working hours: from opening to closing, shifts of 5 to 6 hours.
Flexteam
The flexteam is on standby to handle unexpected jobs and gaps in the schedule. You will have the opportunity to experience the festival in different ways. You will be welcomed with open arms everywhere.
Profile: This team consists of volunteers with a flexible nature who can act quickly, know how to get things done, tackle á la minute work, but can also sit still at times when there is nothing to do for a while.
Working hours: from opening to closing, shifts between 4 and 6 hours.
Greenteam (Full)
The Greenteam ensures the clean and fresh look of the festival. This team ensures that the festival grounds are kept clean throughout the day. You walk all over the field, pick up a lot of the music and don't have to go to the gym!
Profile: This team consists of volunteers who can work out, are practical and want to work together in a close-knit team.
Working hours: from opening to closing, shifts of 5 to 6 hours (with several breaks).
Artist Facilitator (Full)
Artist facilitators take care of welcoming the artists and decorating the Artist Village. You make it cozy and make sure the dressing room is clean and tidy. You will work with the programming team.
Profile: As a volunteer you are hospitable and speak at least English, but preferably several languages. You are flexible and have a sense of responsibility.
Working hours: before, during and after opening till closing time, shifts of about 5 hours.
Drivers (Full)
Drivers ensure that guests, artists and equipment are transported and arrive on location on time.
Profile: As a volunteer you have your driving license for a number of years, you can handle a passenger transport bus, you are flexible and you know your way around Nijmegen. Besides that, you are stress resistant, you can deal well with (foreign) artists and you have logistical insight.
Working hours: The number of hours and compensation in consultation.
