Jazz, afro and soul with an innovative sound
Benjamin 'Bnnyhunna' Ankomah grew up as a Ghanaian boy in Amsterdam-Southeast. During his youth, Bnnyhunna soon discovers that life is not always easy. He therefore looks for all kinds of inspiration as a counterbalance. Music turns out to be a very important source.
During church services, Bnnyhunna learns to play guitar, keyboards and drums. With his dedication and passion, Bnnyhunna later produces songs for artists like Gaaida and Akwasi. These productions lead to tours with José James and Arp Frique, among others.
After his travel adventures, Bnnyhunna decides it is time for his solo debut: Sintha. With this project he wants to offer new perspectives in the current status quo to improve the 'normal' experience of listening to music. Using various art forms, such as photography, video, poetry and musical influences from jazz, soul, afro and hip hop, he excites his audience with an innovative but timeless sound.
