For many people, Cuba is a musical pilgrimage, but pianist Ramón Valle (1964) emigrated from his Caribbean homeland to the Netherlands in the late 1990s. Attracted by the liberal European jazz scene, he has been evolving within it ever since. Latin, classical and jazz merge seamlessly in his music. Valle is a painter amongst the pianists.
