De Niemanders
- Monday 9 June - (Park Brakkenstein)
Exceptional music for extraordinary stories of ordinary people — raw and real.
A voice for the voiceless. Rocco Ostermann and Wout Kemkens, frontmen of the Dutch band De Niemanders, collected stories from detention centers and asylum seeker facilities, crafting powerful music to accompany them. Music that resonates deeply because it stays true to the raw pain and unfiltered reality within these stories. Their sound is bold and unflinching—gritty rock that underscores vulnerability, infused with theatrical elements that amplify the drama. It’s music with an edge, music that hits hard. And woven throughout both the songs and the stories are influences, colors, and accents from all corners of the world. Because the world is always bigger than we imagine. Bigger when we dare to imagine.
