World Blend Café
During the Pentecost weekend (May 27/29), Music Meeting will kick off. On Monday 29 May, the World Music Forum will host the World Blend Café at the festival, including a panel, pitches and a concert by the Chieko Donker Duyvis Ensemble.
“Gelderland promises you beautiful regions” is what the radio commercial tells us. They forget that besides De Apenheul, Het Loo and Hoge Veluwe you can mainly visit musical attractions. Such as the Zwarte Cross, Down the Rabbit Hole, the Vierdaagse Feesten and Music Meeting Festival. Since 1985, this Nijmegen three-day event has been providing you with beautiful musical journeys by artists who later became world stars. Think of Cesaria Evora, Khaled or Youssou N'Dour.
Programme: World Blend Café (12.30- All Ears) & Concert (16.30- Hortus/Mystique)
