Fairytale sounds

Dreamy and summery sounds of vocals, guitar and percussion melt together and reveal a fairytale story about the different phases of love. Music Meeting followed the musical process of composing, arranging, rehearsing and recording the debut album of the Spanish-Dutch Raquel Kurpershoek. Raquel talks about her collaboration with guitarist Alejandro Hurtado and percussionist Danny Rombout and about making her first album – inspired by the book 'The Seven Wise Princesses' that her father gave her at a young age.

Debut album 

Her first single 'Me Embala' was released on April 30, 2022, along with a music video. During Music Meeting Festival 2022, Raquel will perform her debut album for the first time. Moreover, she is supported by Music Meeting as part of the Gelderland Talent Stage. Keep an eye out for this one, as she is on her way to becoming a world famous flamenco singer and musical sensation.
