The past and the future meet in the present in 'De Voetnoot' in Almere, the cultural breeding ground where Music Meeting takes a look behind the scenes at the first musical meeting between Curaçao percussionist Vernon Chatlein and pianist Tony Roe. A special sound experience, with Chatlein's specialization in Afro-Caribbean and traditional percussion on the one hand, and Roe's fascination for various forms of technology that defines his piano, keyboard and synthesizer play on the other.

'Future's Past' 

As part of the 'Future's Past' project initiated by Music Meeting, the two musicians will take the stage together for the first time during the Whitsun weekend. Let their expansive sounds merge and take you into the musical time machine of Vernon Chatlein and Tony Roe.
