MM Concerts - Raquel Kurpershoek

Singer Raquel Kurpershoek has one of those distinctive voices with an edge to it, but her flamenco is more lyrical and melodious than we’re accustomed to. Thanks to her mother – herself a flamenco dancer – she grew up with the pure tradition, but as a singer Raquel prefers to go her own way. Moreover, she writes her own lyrics and composes her own melodies.
