The Meeting Music series arose out of a passion shared by Music Meeting and Jan Douwe Kroeske for discovering new music in all its diversity. Meeting Music takes viewers on a journey into the world of a remarkable and promising young musician, exploring his or her music culture. 

Episode 1 - Yoràn Vroom 

The first episode of Meeting Music spotlights the talented Dutch drummer Yoràn Vroom. Accompanied by Jan Douwe, he visits places of significance in his musical career, including his music school in Amsterdam, and they meet mentors and teachers such as Eddy Veldman who were crucial to Yoràn’s musical development. Yoràn also takes viewers into the recording studio where he recorded his recently released first solo album Across A Spectrum.
