Donde vive la música III - presented by Brenda Navarrete

For Cuba, even more than for many European countries, music is part of everyday life. Deeply rooted in the culture and DNA of the people. From formal to the corner of the street. From concert halls to gardens and kitchens. Young, old, professional or amateur: music is reflected in every aspect of Cuban life.

In the three-part series Donde Vive la Música, we embark on a journey with composer and percussionist extraordinaire Brenda Navarrete, who explores in various ways the places in Havana where music really lives. 

Episode 3: 'Music is in the air'

In the third and final episode of Donde Viva la Música, Brenda will take you through the streets of Havana one last time, where music literally lingers in the warm, Cuban air. You can taste the inextricable connection between music and the Cubans. As you walk through the city, you can breathe in the rhythms and feel the vibrant energy created by the sounds. Once you have experienced Havana, it will never let you go.
