Enchanting piano sounds
Composer and pianist Luke Howard is one of the most prominent practitioners of classical music in his native Australia. His compositions contain the art of storytelling without words. With his music inspired by Philip Glass and Arvo Pärt, Howard enchants fans worldwide.
As a classical piano student, Howard's piano teacher encourages him to develop his first improvisations. He later graduated in jazz from the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne. As a performer, Howard performs solo, but also as a duo or trio. He is also a much sought-after composer for film, theater and ballet.
In addition, Howard produced many albums by Australian artists. And he collaborated with various international artists such as Lana del Rey and Jeff Mills. In 2022, the album All Of Us was released, which Howard recorded during the lockdown. BBC Radio 6 describes his music as 'Absolutely heavenly'.
