Remuneration Policy
Music Meeting pays artists according to the Sena standard. In 2026, this will be €340 per performing musician, per performance, and €240 if the group has more than six musicians. For freelancers in the core team, we will work with a minimum rate of €40 per hour, excluding VAT, in 2026, and for support work, the minimum hourly rate will be €30 per hour, excluding VAT. The Dutch Podia collective labor agreement serves as a guideline in this regard. This also applies to the general manager employed by Music Meeting. Every year, we work with more than 100 volunteers and offer internships to students from vocational colleges, universities of applied sciences, and universities. Music Meeting volunteers receive free admission to the festival and backstage catering. New volunteers receive a T-shirt. Interns receive an internship allowance equal to the maximum volunteer allowance per month for an internship of up to 20 hours per week.

Objective
Music Meeting promotes the musical climate in the Netherlands by organizing an annual international music festival of high quality, with space for (in the Netherlands) new offerings and exceptional talent. Music Meeting is presented to a broad local, regional and national audience, and has an international appeal.

Governance
The Music Meeting Foundation operates under a management-board model. The board establishes policy, vision, and objectives and safeguards the cultural value of Music Meeting. The board has final responsibility but delegates its tasks, both policy preparation and implementation, to the general director. The general director is appointed by the board. The board performs its duties without remuneration.

Activities
