house rules

By purchasing a ticket and/or entering the festival locations, visitors agree to the following house rules. Violation of the house rules may result in denial of access to the festival locations without refund. Instructions and directions from staff and security must always be followed. In situations not covered by the house rules, the organization will decide. 

excess/liability

Entering the festival locations and attending the performances is entirely at the visitor's own risk.

valuable goods 

There are no lockers or cloakrooms to store coats and/or bags. Bringing coats and/or bags to the festival is entirely at your own risk. We recommend leaving valuable items at home. 

privacy

Upon entering the festival locations, visitors give permission for video, photo, and audio recordings to be made in which the visitor may appear. The organization or the press will use these recordings for promotional purposes.

alcohol

Visitors under the age of 18 are not permitted to purchase and/or consume alcohol. Proof of identity must be shown upon request by bar staff, security or other authorized persons.

smoking

Smoking is only permitted outdoors, but please be considerate of other visitors. Smoking is not permitted by law in (temporary) buildings, structures, tents, and/or under canopies. 

(access) control

Your luggage may be searched for prohibited items upon entry. Visitors who refuse to undergo the above checks will not be granted entry (or re-entry).

prohibited items

The following items may not be brought to the festival:

• food and beverages (excluding hardened drinking bottles)
• cans and glassware
• dangerous items, including (defensive) weapons such as pepper spray and smurf spray, knives, glass and/or tin cans, aerosols (except sunscreen, deos and perfume)
• (soft/hard) drugs and alcohol
• toxic, highly flammable or mildly explosive materials, fireworks
• objects with discriminatory and/or provocative texts and/or expressions
• professional photo and video and audio recording equipment and selfie sticks, unless there is an arrangement with the organization
• drones
• own chairs

And all other matters which, according to the organization of Music Meeting Festival, may pose a danger to health, safety and public order. If drugs and/or weapons are found, the visitor will be detained and handed over to the police. 

What you are allowed to bring: drinking bottles with water (no glass), bags, backpacks, umbrellas, strollers, baby carriages, dresses. 

(domestic) animals 

Pets are not allowed at the festival and will therefore not be admitted. 

identification

Throughout the entire event, identification is required, as is the case throughout the rest of the Netherlands. The following forms of identification are valid: driver's license, passport, and identity card.

cross-border behaviour

The organization strives to make Music Meeting Festival a pleasant and safe place for all visitors. Discrimination, intimidation, vandalism, provocation, aggression, causing nuisance or violence in any form will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the festival grounds without refund and/or referral to the police.
