Would you like to be part of an international festival filled with amazing artists and encounters? Music Meeting is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us create an unforgettable edition!

From May 22–25, you’ll not only bring the festival to life, but you’ll also experience it up close. Whether you’re welcoming guests, helping behind the scenes, or right in the thick of the action—there’s always a role that’s right for you. Sound good? We ask that volunteers commit to at least two shifts. Each shift consists of 4–6 hours of work. Of course, you’re always welcome to work more shifts!

Teams and Tasks

ticket-cashing team

The ticket booth team serves as the first point of contact for our visitors and thus plays a key role in the festival experience. You ensure a smooth and welcoming entry by scanning tickets and, when necessary, selling tickets using a card reader at the entrance. With your friendly demeanor and organizational skills, you help visitors get off to a good start and immediately set the right tone. You are the face of the festival and help ensure a smooth start to everyone’s visit.

Profile: This team consists of volunteers who are responsible, punctual, and able to communicate clearly with visitors. They are confident, reliable, and calm.

greenteam

The Greenteam keeps the festival looking clean and fresh. This team makes sure the festival grounds are kept clean throughout the day.

Profile: This team consists of volunteers who are willing to roll up their sleeves, have a practical mindset, and want to work together as a close-knit team.

backstage catering

The Backstage catering team handles all bar duties behind the scenes and ensures that performers and volunteers have everything they need. You’ll serve coffee, tea, and other beverages, make sandwiches, and help with cleanup and dishwashing. Through your efforts, you’ll help create a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere backstage and contribute to a welcoming space where everyone can take a moment to recharge.

Profile: This team consists of friendly, hands-on volunteers who are hospitable and efficient.

volunteer center

The volunteer desk is where all volunteers are welcomed and registered. You’ll check people in, provide information about their shifts, and answer questions. You’ll give everyone a warm welcome and serve as the first point of contact for volunteers throughout the festival.

Profile: This team consists of organized and hospitable individuals who can work with precision. You have strong communication skills and can maintain a clear overview, even during busy periods.

mini meeting

As a volunteer at Mini Meeting, you’ll be actively involved in the children’s activities as well as the workshops for all ages. You’ll help supervise the activities, provide support when needed, and help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm will make the program even more enjoyable and accessible for all visitors.

Profile: This team is made up of volunteers who are creative, proactive, and enthusiastic. Of course, you enjoy working with people of all ages and have a knack for bringing different generations together.

information desk/merchandise

The team at this booth provides information about the festival; they’re essentially the festival’s “tourist information office.” Visitors come here with all kinds of questions. You’ll also be selling merchandise from the artists and Music Meeting itself.

Profile: This team consists of active, enthusiastic individuals who are hospitable, punctual, and customer-friendly. You have excellent communication skills and are able to turn problems into solutions. You are capable of maintaining accurate records of merchandise sales.

promotional team

The promotion team is responsible for raising the festival’s profile in the city. You’ll be out and about talking to people, sharing information, and promoting the program. With your energy and enthusiasm, you’ll spark people’s curiosity and invite them to attend the festival.

Profile: This team consists of outgoing, energetic people who are comfortable approaching others and enjoy inspiring others. You have strong communication skills and present a professional image.

visitor services

The visitor services team ensures that everything runs smoothly on-site. You’ll help visitors find their way around, keep an eye on things during busy periods, and assist with crowd flow. You’ll maintain a visible presence and help ensure smooth movement and a positive festival experience for visitors.

Profile: This team consists of alert, helpful people who are adaptable and able to maintain a clear overview. You communicate clearly and know how to interact with visitors in a friendly manner.

flexteam

The Flex Team is ready to step in and handle unexpected tasks and fill gaps in the schedule. You’re flexible and support different teams as needed. This gives you the chance to experience the festival in multiple ways and work in various locations. Thanks to your dedication, everything runs smoothly, and you’re welcomed with open arms everywhere you go.

Profile: This team consists of flexible volunteers who can act quickly, get things done, but also know how to sit back and relax when there’s nothing to do.
