MM Talks - Rita Payés & Elisabeth Roma

The wider public discovered her on YouTube, where she attracted two million views with the number ‘Nunca vas a comprender’. But even before that the Catalan trombone player and singer Rita Payés released her first album at the age of 16 and made a name for herself in the Sant Andreu JazzBand. Payés likes to break down barriers between classical music and fado, bolero or a simple lullaby. For her performance at Music Meeting she brought along her quartet, with her mother Elisabeth Roma on guitar, Horacio Fumero from Venezuela on bass, and his compatriot Juan Berbín on drums. In the All Ears Area she is interviewed together with Elisabeth Roma.
