MM Sessions - Mariá Portugal & Romain Bly

Melting melody and rhythm, Brazilian drummer and singer Mariá Portugal is constantly searching for a song form that never ends, and never tires either.

Romain Bly grew up in Paris, with a trumpet and a French horn under his pillow. Living in Rotterdam for the past decade he has played one or several instruments he masters with the likes of La Boutique Fantastique, Stargaze and Bonsai Panda.

Improv in symmetry 

Their duo-drum music session zooms in on the musicians' similarities, and turns into what Portugal and Bly themselves named ‘Improv in symmetry’.
