MM Concerts - AM.OK

Tijn Wybenga's music is a far cry from the safe middle ground. The young composer and bandleader much prefers to seek out the poetry in musical intersections. Between jazz, classical and electronic music. Between composition and improvisation. Between the thoughtful and the unexpected. 

The line-up of Wybenga’s formation AM.OK is therefore quite different from your average orchestra. The young performers were mainly chosen for their personality as musicians. By working in the moment Tijn creates exciting, energetic music, as varied as life itself. Sometimes subtle and subdued, sometimes bright and exuberant.
