Rory Ronde 2021
Much-in-demand guitarist who shifts between big band, neo-soul and laidback hip-hop.
The 'Dox Family'
Virtuoso guitarist Rory Ronde (1978), also known as Kofi Anonymous, broke through as a member of the ‘Dox Family’, the circle of musicians around music label Dox Records. In that capacity, he can be heard on records by artists such as Benny Sings, Giovanca and New Cool Collective, of which he’s a permanent member.
Jazz, pop and neo-soul
Raised in Amsterdam, the self-taught guitarist also regularly accompanies Wouter Hamel, and he founded the laidback hip-hop collective Les Cooles De Ville (think in the soulful direction of De La Soul and The Blacked Eyed Peas). His guitar playing is influenced by all sorts of styles, from jazz and pop to neo-soul.
