Are you performing at the 38th edition of Music Meeting?

Music Meeting is on the hunt for new and exciting talent! Are you a musician that creates work with an adventurous character that definitely deserves a spot on our stage during the next festival edition? Then sign up for this open call, intended for all artists living and working in the Gelderland region.

Increased visibility in the global music scene, financial support and various career opportunities: there is a lot of good stuff involved when performing at Music Meeting 2024. Do you like what you’re hearing? Convince us through this open call, preferably in film and sound, and who knows, you might shine live at our festival next year!

This call is intended for artists who work within:

- global music and beyond
- improvised music & jazz and beyond
- multidisciplinary projects including music

Stage experience, a background in music or art education are not required. Music Meeting also welcomes self-taught musicians.

The final choice will be made by two impartial judges. A number of criteria are crucial in the assessment, such as artistic potential, adventurous character and originality of the work.

This call is open from 1 to 30 September 2023 and is exclusively intended for musicians who live and work in Gelderland. The jury will decide in October. The 38th edition of Music Meeting will take place from 18 to 20 May 2024. Music Meeting follows the fair practice policy. For questions: seeyou@musicmeeting.nl
