From classical to world music
Yanna Pelser is a singer, but also a classically trained viola player. After a career in various ensembles, she is now mainly active in jazz, pop, world music and improvisation. She has worked live with pop artists such as Duncan Laurence, Karsu and Flip Noorman and played the viola for world acts such as David Guetta and will.i.am.
Albertine
2020 - when all was shut down - was the year for her to finally record her own music. This she did under the pseudonym Albertine. It's a wonderful debut called Drops, which will be released in 2021: an album with English, intended on pop music from the 60s and 70s. While plucking her violin, Yanna Pelser sings about the unbearable lightness of existence and other actions.
