Sera Kalo eX.II

Sera Kalo, originally from the Caribbean, is a versatile singer-songwriter and composer who transcends boundaries. Based in Berlin, Kalo moves effortlessly between soul, jazz, electronic grooves, and other influences. Her voice is her compass: warm, flexible, and full of character. She can seduce with a velvety softness, only to deliver a rhythmic and raw performance the next moment.

Kalo has a vibrant sound that blends percussion, improvisation, and futuristic timbres. She moves freely between styles and forms, creating music that is both personal and expressive. Live, Kalo is a powerful performer. She effortlessly shifts from intimate vocal lines to mesmerizing energy. Every performance feels like a journey of discovery, in which the audience and musicians come together. During Music Meeting, Kalo presents her latest project, eX.II – JAZZ IS PUNK, in which she explores new directions within jazz and beyond. One thing is certain: standing still will be difficult.
