Ámàl means hope (plural) in Arabic. And that is exactly what ÁMÀL Ensemble brings: an eclectic mix of Arabic melodies and Latin American grooves. ÁMÀL Ensemble is a new Amsterdam band with seven young musicians from Syria, Siberia, Mexico, and France. Together, they combine their talents to develop refreshing musical crossovers that resonate with their cultural roots. The group originated from Orchestre Partout, a breeding ground for musical talent from all over the world. ÁMÀL Ensemble's music speaks the language of longing, resilience, and connection. Their songs contain a world of stories, of what they left behind and who they met along the way. Listen to the soulful echoes of the bouzouki, dream away to the rich harmonies of the cello, and dance to the pulsating Mexican rhythms. ÁMÁL Ensemble has performed on various Dutch stages, including the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. Their self-titled debut EP was released in November 2025.
