She stands alone, Amsterdam-based and Taiwan-based Ping-En Hung. With electronics, bass, and vocals, but above all an extraordinary amount of attention and concentration, she creates music somewhere at the extreme intersection of ambient and experimental jazz, which soon puts the listener in a trance and also conjures up numerous images before their eyes. An unusual and exciting musical universe, dreamy and introverted, but also raw, robust and full of unprecedented, alienating samples and sounds. Drawing from various genres and backgrounds, but especially from her immense imagination, Ping-En Hung creates music that evokes all sorts of associations.
