Min Won, drummer, composer, master student of pop/jazz at ArtEZ, exchanged his South Korean village for Arnhem and developed in the Netherlands into a refined, sharp, inventive percussionist. He is now much in demand by established musicians, but his own projects are also special, such as the collaboration with Slovenian dancer, choreographer, Burja Podlesnik, also an ArtEZ student. Together, curiously improvising, they explore the boundaries of their diciplines and playful creativity.
Min Won can be heard twice at Music Meeting on Monday, June 9. In addition to his duo performance with dancer Burja Podlesnik, he also plays in The Starpeople.
