With Swedish reed player Mats Gustafsson and his compatriot trumpeter Goran Kajfes, you can be sure of at least two things. First: their performances will release a tremendous energy. And second: they will always want to go where they have not been before.
The two, known among other things from FIRE! Orchestra, have now joined forces in a new formation dedicated to improvised creative, but above all spiritual music. Immediately striking is the remarkable instrumentation in which we see, among others, a donso ngoni, a contrabass clarinet, a pocket trumpet, a slide flute and a berimbau. Instruments from all over the world, played by musicians who prefer to enter new worlds. And who are not averse to a fine musical trip.
