Policy plan
Music Meeting aims to reach the widest and most diverse audience possible for unknown, high-quality and exciting international music that can rarely or not at all be admired live in the Netherlands and Europe. Music Meeting is an inspiring meeting place for all groups that share the love of surprise: committed musicians, experts, professionals, amateurs, talents, ambassadors and enthusiasts

Directors
Pieter van Ree, chairman
Hakky Raijmakers, treasurer
Marzio Scholten, general board member

Remuneration policy
Music Meeting pays performers according to the Sena standard. In 2025 this will be € 330 per performing musician, per performance, and € 230 if the group has more than six musicians. For freelancers in the core team, we work in 2025 with an hourly rate of minimum € 40 per hour, excluding VAT. The collective agreement for Dutch venues applies as a guideline. This also applies to the general director who is employed by Music Meeting. Every year we work with over 100 volunteers and we offer internships to students from MBO, HBO and university. Music Meeting volunteers get free access to the festival and catering backstage. New volunteers receive a T-shirt. Interns receive an internship allowance equal to the maximum volunteer allowance per month for an internship of up to 20h per week.

Objective
Music Meeting promotes the musical climate in the Netherlands by organizing an annual international music festival of high quality, with space for (in the Netherlands) new offerings and exceptional talent. Music Meeting is presented to a broad local, regional and national audience, and has an international appeal.

Governance
Music Meeting Foundation uses the executive board model. The board establishes the policy, vision and objectives and monitors the cultural value of Music Meeting. The board is ultimately responsible but delegates its tasks, both policy-preparing and executive, to the management (general manager and artistic director). This is appointed by the board. The board performs its duties unpaid.

Activities
Music Meeting Foundation's core activity is organizing the 3-day Music Meeting festival.
