Please note: We have a minimum of two dayparts for volunteering.

Teams and Tasks

ticket-cashing team

Description:
The Ticket checkout team scans tickets and sells them with a pin machine at the entrance to the grounds. You are the business card of the festival.

Profile:
Volunteers on this team have a responsible attitude, work punctually and communicate clearly with visitors. Confident, reliable and calm.

Working hours:
From opening to closing time, shifts between 4 and 6 hours divided into shorter shifts of 2.5 hours.

greenteam

Description:
The Green Team ensures that the festival looks clean and fresh. This team keeps the festival grounds clean throughout the day. You walk all over the field, enjoy the music and still get your work-out.

Profile:
Volunteers who know how to get things done, are practical and enjoy working in a close-knit team.

Working hours:
From opening to closing time, shifts of 5 to 6 hours (with several breaks).

backstage bar

Description:
The Backstage Bar team performs bar duties. They serve coffee, tea and drinks for both volunteers and performers, spread sandwiches, clean up and wash up. This team creates a friendly atmosphere backstage.

Profile:
Volunteers on this team are fluent, hands-on, customer-oriented and efficient.

Working hours:
From morning to close, shifts between 4 and 6 a.m.

public bar

Description:
The public bar team performs bar duties, such as taking orders, pouring drinks and checkout using the ATM. You will work under the direction of an experienced bar manager.

Profile:
Volunteers on this team are fluent, hands-on, customer-oriented and efficient. Hospitality experience is a plus.

Working hours:
From opening to closing time, shifts of 5 to 6 hours.

door

Description:
The doormen check entrance tickets at various passageways from backstage to frontstage on the grounds and provide interested visitors with information about the festival.

Profile:
Ideal for people who work independently, but also function well in a team. You are enthusiastic, confident and act as an independent point of contact.

Working hours:
From opening to closing time, shifts of 4 to 5 hours.

flexteam

Description:
The Flex Team is ready to take on unexpected jobs and roster gaps. This gives you the chance to experience the festival in different ways and you will be welcomed with open arms everywhere.

Profile:
Volunteers on this team are flexible, can act quickly, know how to get things done and adapt effortlessly to changing situations.

Working hours:
From opening to closing time, shifts between 4 and 6 hours.

mini meeting

Description:
As a volunteer within the Mini Meeting team, you will be actively involved in the children's activities, where various workshops for young and old are organized.

Profile:
Creative, enterprising and enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy working and connecting with different generations.

Working hours:
afternoon to early evening, shifts of 4 to 5 hours.

drivers

Description:
Drivers ensure that guests, performers and gear are on location and transported on time.

Profile:
Suitable for volunteers with several years of driving experience, who can handle a passenger bus, are flexible and know the roads in and around Nijmegen well. Also stress resistance, dealing with (foreign) artists and logistical insight are important.

Working hours:
Hours and consideration by mutual agreement.

information desk/merchandise

Description:
The team at the information desk is the "ears and eyes" of the festival. Visitors come here with all kinds of questions and you also sell the merchandise of the artists and Music Meeting itself.

Profile:
This team consists of active, enthusiastic and customer-friendly people who are hospitable and punctual. You are able to keep accurate records for item sales.

Working hours:
From opening to closing time, 5-hour shifts.
