Good news! Miriam Brenner is the new artistic director of Music Meeting Festival. With her extensive experience in the international music world and her passion for adventurous music, she brings a fresh perspective to our festival. She succeeds Martyna van Nieuwland.
A familiar face at Music Meeting
To many, Miriam is no stranger. Between 2009 and 2013 she was already involved with Music Meeting Festival and played an important role in our international programming. Since then, she has worked as a programmer at Festival Mundial in Tilburg and Amare in The Hague and guided international talent with her own agency Kokako Music. She has also been committed to the visibility of female artists for years and is a much sought-after advisor, speaker and jury member at WOMEX and IDFA.
"Music Meeting Festival is a festival close to my heart, so it's super nice to be back. I have great memories of it and know how special it is as a meeting place for artists and audiences. I am enormously looking forward to using my experience and inspiration to further grow the festival, explore new perspectives and share music from rich cultures in special ways." - Miriam Brenner
On to Music Meeting 2025!
From June 7 to 9, Music Meeting Festival will once again take place in Park Brakkenstein, Nijmegen. For three days, the park will be dedicated to groundbreaking music and special encounters. The programming of this edition still largely bears the signature of Martyna van Nieuwland and promises an adventurous and versatile program. The presale has started, be quick!
We look forward to welcoming Miriam back to our team and together taking Music Meeting Festival to new heights!
