Low stimulation text about Music Meeting Festival 2025

Accessibility Park Brakkenstein for people with disabilities

Many of the stages in Park Brakkenstein have a paved floor and at the stages with seating, space is reserved for people with disabilities. Appropriate sanitary facilities are of course available in the form of a wheelchair accessible toilet.

The festival grounds consist of grassy fields, woodland and paved dirt paths and can be a bit bumpy here and there. In dry weather, the grounds are passable for wheelchairs and other aids. In rainy weather, we do our best to keep the festival grounds as accessible as possible for everyone.

For questions or requests around special facilities on the festival grounds, please email seeyou@musicmeeting.nl.

Low-stimulation

Are you someone with a sensitivity to stimuli? There are plenty of quiet places on the festival grounds where you can retreat for a while. In addition, there is always the possibility to leave the festival grounds (and return at a later time). Need a longer break? A large part of Park Brakkenstein remains freely accessible, as does the Hortus Botanical Garden, where you can stroll in peace.

(Assistance) dogs

Dogs are not allowed on the festival grounds and bringing a service dog is strongly discouraged. The Royal Dutch Guide Dog Fund (KNGF) advises bringing a companion instead of a service dog. Festivals are not a suitable environment for dogs and can be harmful to them.

Bring Buddy
Do you have a physical disability or are you sensitive to stimuli? Then you may bring a buddy who will help and guide you. You choose your buddy yourself, so you feel at ease. Your buddy gets free access to the festival. Please contact us in advance at seeyou@musicmeeting.nl.

A map of the park and festival grounds will be on the website starting June 1.
