On Sunday, Nov. 9, November Music will feature the latest performance by Saskia Venegas Aernouts, New Maker at Music Meeting Festival.
This during the program SoundBites: a musical discovery format with short performances in (and around) Theater aan de Parade. In routes of about two hours you will experience a mix of young makers and established names, with music between genres and a snack and drink along the way.
Saskia Venegas is a composer, playwright and violinist inspired by Eastern modalities, improvisation and spectral music. In her performance Ur she voices the ritual and healing power of water, with music, smell and light. Cellist Maya Fridman will be joined by didgeridoo player Lies Beijerinck and percussionist Jacobus Thiele, among others.
