On Sunday, June 8 and Monday, June 9, we welcome one of the most idiosyncratic musicians of our time: Finnish accordionist Kimmo Pohjonen. Known for his raw energy and irrepressible innovation, Pohjonen completely blows away all traditional ideas about the accordion.
At Music Meeting, he will bring two unique performances: an intense solo performance on Sunday and an exciting musical encounter with Swedish reed player Mats Gustafsson on Monday.
