Ukrainian singer Maryana Golovchenko is one of the artists in residence at Music Meeting 2024 this year. She performs in multiple lineups, for example with Trio SonCe - where her beautiful, pure voice is framed by cello, various Turkish wind instruments and modular synthesizer. She also plays live with the Kravchenko Clees duo, which won the Polish Jazz Juniors prize with their unique combination of vocals and vibraphone. Finally, she plays live a soundtrack to director Sergei Parajanov's fantastic film Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors, along with violinist Anna Antipova and pianist Katharine Ziabliuk.

She specializes in international crossover musical and cultural projects (both Eastern and Western Europe). Maryana's collaborations include works with musicians, choirs, filmmakers, visual artists, sound designers, dancers and choreographers. Her current focus is on fusing traditional music from Eastern Europe and Ukraine, specifically with the different types of contemporary music styles (from classical to jazz and electronica) and with musical traditions of other countries and continents.
